ACT Community Sector IR Service Launch and Workshop (change of date)

Jobs Australia and ACTCOSS have been successful in obtaining seed funding from the ACT Government to provide a dedicated industrial relations service for the ACT community sector.

Jobs Australia together with ACTCOSS are pleased to annouce a new IR service for the Community Sector in the ACT. This service has been made possible from funding by the ACT Government.

Community organisations in the ACT are invited to attend a launch which will be followed by a workshop on current industrial relations issues including emerging issues from the modern award; update on the equal pay case; and adverse actions claims – how to minimise your risk.

Details for the launch and workshop are (please note change of date):

WHEN: Wednesday 23 November 2011, launch: 9.30am, workshop: 10am to 12.30pm.
WHERE: Weston Community Hub, 6 Gritten St, Weston ACT 2611.
COST: Free.
